ACER Aspire One 532H Netbook

These days we’re constantly hearing about new Netbooks being released, all the major computer manufacturers are at it, but the latest Netbook offering from Acer is a bit different.
The latest Netbook from Acer it’s basically a revi sed version of Acer’s Aspire One Netbook that will be running on Microsoft’s new Windows 7 operating system.

If you aren’t already aware, there has been a great deal of speculation about Netbooks running Windows 7 and whether or not Netbooks are powerful enough to handle it. We won’t have long to wait to find out now will we.

So is there anything different to look forward to apart from Windows 7?
First of the Aspire One 532H will have a screen size of 10.1 inches but the resolution has been upped to 1,280 x 720.We will also get a 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N450 processor and a 250GB hard disk drive, the usual connectivity options which include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, USB port, all in one card reader, webcam, 2.1 + EDR and multi touch track pad.

Battery time is always an issue with both Netbooks and Laptops, but particularly Netbooks simply because they are designed to be ultra portable so we want to be able to take them with us wherever we go without having to worry about finding a socket to recharge.

The Acer Aspire 532H Netbook has a basic battery so you can expect to get anything up to three and half hours of work or play which often isn’t long enough if you’re out for the day.

However, Acer is also offering the option of a longer life battery which supposedly will give us a respectable seven and a half hours usage. Now whether that is actually case is another matter altogether, I’ll be interested to see.

sysupdate.exe - trojan viruses

sysupdate.exe is a process belonging to an advertising program by EXact Advertising. This process monitors your browsing habits and distributes the data back to the author's servers for analysis.

Damage to your computer's registry could be compromising your PC's performance and causing system slow-downs and crashes too.

This also prompts advertising popups. This process is a security risk and should be removed from your system.

I strongly recommend that you run a antivurs software to identify and remove sysupdate.exe file.

"BOOTMGR is missing" Error While Booting Windows Vista

If your Windows Vista computer has encountered the dreaded “BOOTMGR is missing” error, you aren’t alone. If the problem isn’t hardware related you can fix it with relative ease as long as you have a Windows Vista DVD handy.

1. Boot off the Windows Vista DVD and then click Next at the first prompt

2. You should see a link in the lower left-hand side for “Repair your computer”

3. The installation process will attempt to find your Vista installation directory. If there’s more than one in the list, select the correct one and then use the Next button again.

4. Click the first link for “Startup Repair”

5. The installation process will repair the system, and then prompt for you to reboot.

Alternatively you could have chosen the Command Prompt option instead, and use the following command to fix the boot options only:
bootrec /fixboot

At this point you should be able to reboot your computer, remove the DVD and everything should be working.

Yippie!! ITS SOLVED!
